Film director Ben runs production company Shine a Light Productions which specialises in creating online promotional videos.

Ben’s documentary work has featured on National Geographic, NOWNESS, The Atlantic and Vimeo Staff Picks, and has screened at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals around the world. In 2017, his short film War and Cheese was longlisted for that year’s BAFTA Short Film Award.

Brands Ben has worked with include Google, Phillips and The Disaster Emergency Committee. He has long-standing relationships with higher educational institutions including Imperial College London, King’s College London and the Royal College of Art.Ben is an alumni of BAFTA Crew x BFI Network, a development initiative set up by the UK’s leading film bodies, and has received mentorship from Werner Herzog as part of an initiative he led in Cuba.
